Privacy Policy
All Letter Word Finder (allletterwordfinder.com) is an independent website operated by an individual. This policy explains what information is processed when you visit the site, use the word tools, play Daily Letter Sprint, or email the operator. Questions about this policy can be sent to qwe8918565@gmail.com.
Summary
- Word searches run in your browser. The letters, patterns, and filters you type are not sent to our server to calculate results.
- Saved words, recent searches, game statistics, and your privacy choices are stored in your own browser, not in an account.
- Google Analytics loads only if you choose Allow. Microsoft Clarity runs by default on reviewed pages with cookie consent signals set to denied, and you can turn it off at any time.
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and processes technical request data.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not ask you to create an account.
Information stored in your browser
The word tools download word lists and matching code to your browser, and matching happens on your device. Some features save information in your browser's local storage:
| Storage key | What it holds | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|
alwf.resultWorkspace.v1 | Up to 200 saved words and 20 recent searches, with the search settings, a result-count category, and a timestamp | Until you clear it in Saved & recent or clear site data |
daily-letter-sprint-stats | Daily Letter Sprint best score, best word count, last played date, and streak | Until you clear site data |
alwf.analyticsConsent.v1 | Your Google Analytics choice | 180 days, then you are asked again |
alwf.clarityPreference.v1 | Your Microsoft Clarity on/off preference | Until you change it or clear site data |
This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Anyone who uses the same browser profile may be able to see it. Clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes all of it.
Share links can include search settings after the # symbol in the address. Anyone who receives the link can read those settings. Please do not type passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, or other private information into search fields.
Hosting and security (Cloudflare)
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. To serve pages, prevent abuse, and keep the site available, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser and device information, timestamps, and security signals. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides us with aggregate traffic reports such as page views and referrers; it does not use cookies to identify individual visitors. Cloudflare handles this data under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics (optional)
When you first visit a page where analytics is available, a small notice offers Allow, Reject, and Details. Google Analytics does not load unless you choose Allow.
If you allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and receives technical information such as your device type, browser, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the pages you visit. Our own events record page paths and limited tool-use categories, such as result-count ranges. They do not include the letters, patterns, or share-link settings you enter, and we clear the page referrer field. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization, and Google signals are switched off for our Analytics setup. Google keeps this data for the retention period configured in our Analytics property, which is at most 14 months, and then deletes it.
You can change your choice at any time with Analytics choices in the footer. Turning analytics off stops our analytics events, removes this site's Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page. If your browser cannot store your choice, analytics stays off. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, for example where people click and how far they scroll, so we can fix confusing layouts and broken interactions. Clarity is on by default on reviewed public pages. We send Clarity a signal that cookie consent has not been granted, so it should not set its tracking cookies, and session continuity may be limited.
To protect what you type, page content, search inputs, and results are masked in Clarity recordings. Pages whose address contains a query string (?) or a fragment (#), such as shared search links, are not recorded. If you open one, recording stops until a fresh page load. Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal are not recorded.
You can turn Clarity off in Analytics choices in the footer. Your preference is saved in this browser, this site's Clarity cookies are removed, and the page reloads. Microsoft processes Clarity data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Advertising
This site does not currently display advertising, and no advertising scripts are loaded. We have authorized Google as a seller of our advertising inventory in our public ads.txt file and may show ads served by Google AdSense in the future. Before we do, we will update this policy and provide any consent choices required in your region.
When Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or My Ad Center. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Learn more in How Google uses cookies in advertising.
When advertising is enabled, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be shown a Google-certified consent message before personalized ads are used, and will be able to change their choice later through the site.
Children
All Letter Word Finder is a general-audience word tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Email you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply, investigate a reported problem, or handle a privacy request. We do not add you to a mailing list. Email is handled through Google's Gmail service. Please remove private information from screenshots before sending them.
Your choices and rights
- Review or withdraw your Google Analytics choice, or turn Clarity off, with Analytics choices in the footer.
- Delete saved words, recent searches, and game statistics in Saved & recent or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking storage can affect saved words and game history.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of information about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not run accounts, we usually cannot link analytics or Clarity data to a named person, but we will explain what we can find. Email qwe8918565@gmail.com with "Privacy" in the subject line. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why a specific check is needed.
Links to other websites
Dictionary sources, game websites, and other external links have their own privacy practices. This policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
When our data practices change, for example if advertising is enabled, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. Changes that require consent will be introduced together with the consent choice. You can also read who runs this site or contact the operator.
