What is a 5 letter word finder?
A 5 letter word finder is a search tool that filters five-letter words by known positions, required letters, and letters you want to exclude.
Can I use this as a Wordle helper?
Yes. Put green letters in the position boxes, yellow letters in Include, and gray letters in Exclude. Wordle Mode changes the labels to match that workflow.
How do the position boxes work?
Each box represents one letter slot. If you know the third letter is A, type A in the third box and leave unknown boxes blank.
Why are some words not shown?
The tool uses a curated browser-side word list focused on practical word-game results. Very rare names, abbreviations, or obscure words may be left out.
Does the tool send my letters anywhere?
No. Filtering runs in your browser, so the letters you type are used locally to narrow the word list.
